Kozhikode (Calicut), the most important region of Malabar in yesteryears, was the capital of the powerful Zamorins and also a prominent trade and commerce center. Kozhikode District found a place in the World History with the discovery of Sea Route to India in 1498 by the Portuguese Navigator Vasco Da Gama. Vasco Da Gama landed at the Kappad sea shore with three vessels and 170 men. A monument is constucted here to commemorate the historical landing.

Featured here is the first of the four trails in the northern district of Wayanad as conceived and promoted by Wayanad Tourism Organization (WTO) an organization taking the lead role in fostering a culture of 'responsible and sustainable tourism' in Wayanad. Of the four trails, we would like to introduce first the 'Outdoor Trail', which would cover the following locations in the District of Wayanad

Kodagu also known as Kodava Nadu, is an administrative district in Karnataka, India. It occupies an area of 4,102 square kilometres in the Western Ghats of southwestern Karnataka.

Calicut-Wayanad-Coorg-Mysore

Day 01	Arrival at Calicut Airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon proceed for local sightseeing of Calicut - the capital of Malabar . The sightseeing attractions in this legendary city include Calicut Beach, Thali Temple, Kappad Beach, Pazhassiraja Museum and Beypore Beach. Overnight stay in Calicut.
Day 02	After Break Fast Check out Hotel and Proceed to Wayanad. Check in Hotel at Kalpetta. Local Sight seeing at Edakkal caves,Soochippara Water falls,Pookode Lake. Over night stay at Wayanad.
Day 03	After Break fast, Check out hotel. Proceed to Mananthavady.Check in Hotel.Local Sight seeing at Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, Kuruva Island, Tholpetty Wild life sanctuary,Banasura Hill, Thirunelly temple. Over night stay at Hotel
Day 04	After Break fast. Trekking at Chembara peak, paksipathalam, Basura Hill,. Over night stay at Hotel.
Day 05	After an early break fast Proceed to Coorg. Enroute visit Irppu Falls, Thalacavery & Bhagamandala Thriveni sangamam. Check in Hotel at Coorg.
Day 06	After break fast ,Local sight seeing. Nisargadama,Golden Temple ( Tibetans Rehabilitation center)Abby Falls,Raja’s Seat.Over night stay at Coorg.
Day 07	After break fast ,Check out hotel, proceed to Mysore. Local sight seeing. Mysore Palace, Brindavan Garden,Chamundi Hills, Srirangapatnam. Over night stay at Mysore
Day 08	After break fast ,Check out Hotel and Proceed to Bangalore.

Accommodation on twin sharing basis on meal plan stated above. All transfers and sightseeing arrangements by AC Vehicle as per itinerary. Vehicle at your disposal as per the itinerary.
